Emory University is located in a beautiful, wooded, section of northeast Atlanta about 4 miles from downtown. A sprawling city with masses of trees and rolling hills, Atlanta is the capital of Georgia and one of the South's leading cities. Atlanta is an international city as well, having hosted the Olympic Games in the summer of 1996. Atlanta's Hartsfield Airport is one of the busiest airports in the world. Downtown Atlanta is a center of political, legal and financial activity, and one of the top convention and tourism cities in North America.

- Enterprise CarShare Program - Emory has switched from ZipCar to Enterprise CarShare program. The one-time application fee will cost $10 and the annual membership will be $35. Up until October 31, all vehicles will have an hourly rate of $5.
